Stroll through a colorful Mexican market (across from City Hall) to feast on Spanish and Mexican-American foods, shop for crafts and souvenirs and enjoy live entertainment all day and into the early evening.  Catch MTD's lines 2, 6, 11, 14, 22. MTD stop Anacapa & Carrillo. Also MTD lines 20, 21x & the Crosstown Shuttle. MTD Stop Anacapa and De la Guerra. 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.  Mackenzie Park at State and Las Positas in San Roque area. Come for the fun and the food, stay for the music and dancing. Check out our four distinct “neighborhoods” for all the family: the food court where you can watch daily entertainment and enjoy Fiesta foods; the Fiesta Bazaar for souvenirs; Fiesta Carnival with rides and attractions for the kids and, the brand new Fiesta Crazy Horse Cantina for icy cold beer margaritas and live entertainment in the evening to get you up and dancing. 8:00 p.m. The Little Fiesta" officially opens Old Spanish Days on the steps of Santa Barbara's historic Old Mission. This event features Fiesta's traditional songs and dances: tunes of the Californios, Flamenco, Spanish classical and Mexican folklórico dances. Food is available for purchase from local vendors. Catch MTD's line 22 and ride to the show. Buses will be there waiting to take you back after the show. MTD Stop: Old Mission.

COURT HOUSE FIESTA TOURS FREE
10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  Santa Barbara County Courthouse. Guided tours (every half hour) of this beautiful Moorish-Spanish building located at 1100 Anacapa Street.  Meet in the Mural Room. Catch MTD's lines 2, 3, 6, 11, 14, 20, 21x, 22 & the Crosstown Shuttle. MTD Stop: Anacapa and Anapamu.

The cost is $85 per person in advance, $100 at the gate. Park at the Doubletree and catch the Dignatarios shuttle in the parking lot. Or, ride MTD's Downtown Waterfront Electric Shuttle. LAS NOCHES DE RONDA ("Nights of Gaiety") FREE admission
8:00 p.m Santa Barbara County Courthouse Sunken Garden. A splendid variety show of music, singing, fiery Flamenco from Spain, vivid Folklórico dances from many regions of Mexico.  Catch MTD's lines 2, 3, 6, 11, 14, 20, 21x, 22 & the Crosstown Shuttle. MTD Stop: Anacapa and Anapamu.

Old Spanish Days Fiesta Stock Horse and Rodeo. All Events are held at Earl Warren Showgrounds, Calle Real at Las Positas. Riding and roping contests date back to the 1800’s in California, and this Rodeo dates back to the very first Fiesta. The Professional Bull Riding event joined Fiesta in 2005. Catch MTD line 3. 8:00 a.m.. Fiesta Tri-County Stock Horse show brings in riders from the tri-counties to compete in the Alisal Ranch Horse Class, Fiesta Ranch Horse Class, Old Timers Team Roping and Steer Stopping.

THE PROFESSIONAL BULL RIDERS (PBR) CHALLENGER TOUR $$
7:45 p.m.  The toughest sport on earth returns with the nation’s top riders competing in this fast growing sport.  The action is so close, you'll feel the sweat and dirt! 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.. FREE event – No tickets required. Junior Tri-Counties riders compete in Breakaway Roping, Tie-down Roping, Team Roping and Barrel Racing. Riders compete in the Non-Pro Stock Horse Class and Buckaroo Class plus eliminations for the Open Stock Horse and Hackamore Classes.

EL DESFILE HISTÓRICO / PARADE FREE map
12:00 Noon. The Fiesta Historical Parade is one of the largest equestrian parades in the United States. The parade starts at the west end of Cabrillo Blvd., proceeds east along the beach, to State St., then up State St. to Sola St. Catch MTD line 5 or the Downtown Waterfront  Electric Shuttle to the Grandstand, or lines 2,3,6,11,14,20,21x,22 & the Crosstown Shuttle to Downtown. Stop at Anacapa and Anapamu.

7:00 p.m County Courthouse Sunken Garden. Here is a rare opportunity to see the original Spanish California dances & songs of the 19th century. Interwoven with historic narration, the musical numbers are accompanied on replica acoustic instruments. These unique songs & dances are performed by local residents much as they would have been 150 years ago, in authentic costumes. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy the show.

80th ANNUAL EL DESFILE DE LOS NIÑOS FREE map
10:00 a.m.  The charming Children's Parade is organized by the City Parks and Recreation Department.  Young people of Santa Barbara, their parents and other parade participants, don traditional costumes and celebrate the rich culture of the area.  Parade proceeds down State Street, from Victoria to Ortega Streets.  Ice cream for Parade participants is sponsored by MarBorg Industries.  Call (805) 897-1982 for information and an application.
 
TARDES DE RONDA FREE
1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Sunken Gardens at the County Court House.   
Children's Variety Show. With colorful costumes, children from the Santa Barbara area demonstrate their talents & multi-cultural heritage.
