Support Old Spanish Days Fiesta

For 92 years, Old Spanish Days has put on many community events free to the public. With a donation, you can help ensure that the traditions continue. Old Spanish Days in Santa Barbara, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation dedicated to honoring and preserving Santa Barbara’s history, spirit, culture, heritage, and traditions. 


Becoming a Sponsor

The City of Santa Barbara has been an annual sponsor since the first Fiesta in 1924. A special City Promotional Fund provides support for administration, advertising, promotion and printing to preserve and share with you Santa Barbara's unique cultural history and the joyous sense of community that is Fiesta. Also, we have many wonderful Corporate Sponsorship that help support Old Spanish Days and make Fiesta possible. Fiesta Flower Girls

Old Spanish Days invites you to be a Fiesta Flower Girl! This is a great way to make new friends and represent the Santa Barbara community, as well as Old Spanish Days, as an official greeter of Fiesta. Flower Girls participate in both parades, opening night ceremony at the Old Mission, and visit convalescent homes. Come join the fun and be a part of a great Fiesta tradition!


Volunteer’s Needed

Mercado De la Guerra Looking for volunteers to help with setup and cleanup of the Marketplaces. Parade Marshals: Old Spanish Days seeks volunteers to assist with El Desfile Histórico on Friday day of the parade. Bienvenidos: Become an Ambassador for Fiesta. The Bienvenidos provide information to residents and visitors while preserving the personal hospitality for which Fiesta is known to travelers throughout the world. More info >


El Desfile Histórico (Historical Parade)

The Fiesta Historical Parade is one of the largest equestrian parades in the United States. The parade starts at the west end of Cabrillo Boulevard, proceeds east along the beach to State Street, then up State Street to Sola Street


Desfile de los Niño (Children’s Parade)

The Children's Fiesta Parade is put on by the City Parks and Recreation Department, additional information and applications to participate is available at City Parks website. For this years time, date and location see Fiesta Calendar of Events.
