Old Spanish Days in Santa Barbara, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation dedicated to honoring and preserving Santa Barbara’s history, spirit, culture, heritage and traditions. This 84-year-old organization produces an annual eight day festival—Fiesta—that is widely regarded as Santa Barbara’s premier festival.

Board of Directors
Old Spanish Days Fiesta is run by an Executive Committee and a Board of Directors who represent a broad cross-section of the community. The board is responsible for planning and producing over twelve major events during the week, and organizing nearly 5,000 different volunteers, participants, and performers.

The Spirit of Fiesta leads the annual parade in a traditional white dress, embodies the gaiety and vitality of Santa Barbara’s annual summer festival. She has come to be the visual representation of Fiesta, a goodwill ambassador to local residents and visitors alike.
