Annual Old Spanish Days Costume Sale
It’s time for the Annual Old Spanish Days Costume Sale once again. Fiesta fun is rapidly approaching so come down and buy your attire for Fiesta 2011! La Primavera
Be there as La Presidenta Joanne Funari unveils the 2011 Fiesta poster & pin. Learn about the plans and events for this year’s Fiesta Celebration as you enjoy dinner catered by Pascucci Restaurant, performances by the 2011 Spirit & Junior Spirit, and dance the evening away to the music of Soul City Survivors.
This year Old Spanish Days will be honoring our local Firefighters and Police Officers. If you would like to sponsor a table for Firefighters or Police Officers in appreciation for all that they do, please contact the OSD Office.
Pull out your best Fiesta or Ranch attire and kick off the 2011 Fiesta Season right! Cocktails begin at 5pm, dinner and program begin at 6pm.

2011 Fiesta Poster Art Competition
Registration, Ingathering, & Jurying will be held on Sunday, April 17th, 2011 starting at 10:00am in the Faulkner Gallery at the Santa Barbara Public Library. Please note that artists may drop off and pick up their works but the actual jurying itself is a closed event. There is no advance registration. For more information on the competition rules, as well as an entry form, please download the brochure below and read it carefully.
You must reside in Santa Barbara County to be eligible to enter this Competition.

Results of the countywide Competition will be revealed Monday, April 18 during a private reception at Business First National Bank. The winning artists will be invited to attend this special event in their honor. Twenty works of art will be on display including the winning piece, which will be used in the creation of the 2011 official Fiesta Poster.
Three anonymous judges appointed by the Santa Barbara Art Association will select up to 40 works of art as winners at the Ingathering & Jurying on Sunday, April 17th. From the 40, twenty will be selected by the judges as Juror’s Choice. Then La Presidenta Joanne Funari will select one to be used as artwork for the Fiesta Poster. The judges will also award First Place and two Honorable Mention ribbons.
The 20 Juror’s Choice artworks will be on public display starting on the 20th of April at Walter Claudio Studio, 11 West Figueroa Street, and then starting on the 2nd of July, the exhibit will be at Casa de la Guerra located at 15 East De la Guerra Street.
