Josiah Jenkins is a fifth generation Californian involved with Jedlicka's Saddlery; a local family owned business selling clothing, boots, hats and tack. He's been involved with the Old Spanish Days board since 1991.
He has served as the Secretary - Treasurer of the Old Spanish Days Rodeo & Stock Horse Show from 1990 to 2007 , been Chairman of the rodeo in 1997, 1998 , 2001, 2006 & 2007 and helped stage El Desfile Histórico. He served as a Vice-Presidente/Executive Committee member in 2000 and Vice President/Secretary – Treasurer in 2002 and 2003.
For 2007, he is serving as OSD Vice President/Secretary-Treasurer on the Executive Committee and will continue his involvement with the Stock Horse & Rodeo. Josiah originally became involved with Old Spanish Days in 1976 as a volunteer with the rodeo and parade, a time when longhorns were run up State Street at the beginning of the parade.
