Tim Taylor is a 6th generation Californian. He is related to the Cota, Osuna, and Foxen families. His great, great, great grandparents William Benjamin Foxen and Eduarda del Carmen Osuna were married at the Santa Barbara Mission in 1831. Eduarda's grandfather was Pablo Antonio de Cota de Leon who came to California with Father Junipero Serra. Tim has followed his ancestor's footsteps by recently marring his wife Perrin at our beautiful and historic Old Mission.
Tim is Old Spanish Days' El Presidente for 2008. His goal this year is to include and invite the entire community to celebrate Fiesta. His theme this year ¡Viva la Comunidad!" (Long Live the Community) reflects just that. . He started volunteering in 2000 and has served on the Board since 2002. During his tenure he has served as 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, and Vice President of Marketplaces and Merchandise.
