Los Niños de las Flores

Old Spanish Days invites children and young adults up to 18 to join the Los Niños de las Flores program! This is a great way to make new friends and represent the Santa Barbara community, as well as Old Spanish Days, as an official greeter of Fiesta. Los Ninos will participate in both the historic parade and children's parades, the opening night ceremony at the Old Mission, visit retirement homes, and greet visitors at both the airport and train station.

Flower Girls are young ladies and Jovencitos are young boys who are between 6 and 12 years old. With their bright smiles and a "Viva La Fiesta" shout, they embody the Fiesta Spirit.

Las Señoritas, ages 13-18, are critical in assisting the younger participants at various events. Additionally, participation in the program qualifies as community service hours toward graduation requirements.  Las Señoritas completed 2 years as a Los Niños before becoming a Señorita.

We look forward to celebrating this wonderful tradition with all of you.
